Here is a small selection of Ottawa Citizen dispatches, covering a span of several years. We wish we could provide you the whole selection, 218 dispatches in all, but our contractual agreement with our publisher prohibits us from reproducing material that will be part of the book (something that is standard for all writers). Obviously, four years of writing lengthy weekly dispatches resulted in a much larger volume of writing than could be covered in a single volume, so not all of our favourite stories ended up fitting into the book. Here are a few of the original dispatches about events that didn’t make it into the book, for your enjoyment.
